Australia Women Tour of India 2018

The Australia Women’s Tour of India is underway and the matches are set to begin on Monday, 12th March. As part of the ICC Women’s Championship, a three-match ODI series will be played between India and Australia. After a successful tour in South Africa, India will look to give their best in this series as well.

The venue for all the matches will be Reliance Stadium, Vadodara.

Mithali Raj will lead the Indian side in the three ODIs as Meg Lanning, who is making a comeback after an injury, will lead the Australian side.

The three ODIs will be followed by a T20 Tri-series which will see India, Australia and England competing for the crown.

Practice Matches

Two warm up matches were held between India A led by Anuja Patil and Australia led by Meg Lanning. Australia won the first practice match by a massive 321 runs. They also won the second match by 7 wickets.

The matches will be telecast live on Star Sports.

Also, for two of the stands, entry for the three ODIs will be free at the Reliance Stadium.
