The 6th ODI between India and South Africa was held at SuperSport Park, Centurion, on 16th February.
South Africa Innings
As India won the toss and opted to bowl, South Africa lost early wickets and were eventually bundled out for 204 in 46.4 overs. Khaya Zondo (54 off 74 balls) and Andile Phehlukwayo (34 off 42 balls) were the highest scorers for South Africa.
After losing two early wickets, it was Kohli’s stellar 129* off 96 that not only led India to a spectacular series win but also broke several records. Virat Kohli has now become the only batsman to have scored more than 500 runs in a bilateral ODI series.
Kohli was named the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series, as India won the ODI series with a magnificent 5-1 tally.
